Frank Kern Lesson: Key To Success In One Sentence

The picture collage above represents the books I've read (some of them re-read) in the last 4 weeks. Whenever you're looking to grow your business or improve your personal life, many of us strive for that next 'key to success' tip!

Could that next "Ah Hah!" moment be in my twitter feed? Or maybe it's in a book that's been sitting on my shelf for 3 years that I've been meaning to read. The truth is, I learn something new everytime I read.

In fact, re-reading a book can re-kindle information you once knew but then forgot in the self-growth distraction which is everyday life. Well, earlier today, while watching an educational serious from Frank Kern (he's amazing FYI), I came across one sentence that perfectly articulates success.

Take The Focus Off You

Although I had heard it before, I had... forgotHas that ever happened to you?

When asked about the key to his entrepreneurial success over his years in direct sales and marketing, Frank Kern notes a lesson he learned a long time ago. A lesson that came from Zig Ziglar himself.

"You can have everything in life you want, if you will just help enough other people get what they want."

Simple yet true. Many of us get so caught up in our own dreams, desires, and wants... that we forget about how simple success can truly be.

Personally, I know if I help enough people get what they are looking forsomehow... someway... I'll be ok.

Change Their State

A special thanks to Brian Horn and his recent article in the Huffington Post (click here to view). It's a great reminder for all of us.

And of course, Mr. Frank Kern for sharing his words of wisdom. Frank, hope you're on a surf board buddy!

In closing, people pay other people to help them with a situation. Whether it's a car tire, or a new widget, or personal fitness training, it's all the same. People want to change the state they are currently in... you do that for enough people, the world will take care of you.
