Live video is huge.

Combining Live TV and social media? Sounds like a winner to me. The events broadcast on TV - live on your stream.

Will this be the thing that saves Twitter - streaming LIVE TV on a social media platform?

This fall it started with the NFL partnering with Twitter to live stream football. Live stream of your favorite team, along with commentary from not only the broadcasters on 'TV' but tweets from around the US.

Twitter next took its 'live TV' international with the Melbourne Cup

Next up, the Golden Globes

Yes,  this just might be the saving grace of Twitter and the future of live TV
